Dr. John Redding

John Redding is president and founder of Institute for Strategic Learning, John has 30 years of experience as a strategic planning facilitator, personally leading planning sessions for over 150 organizations.

John is a leading authority on strategic planning, authoring two books – Strategic Readiness (with Ralph Catalanello) and The Radical Team Handbook – and dozens of articles on the topic.

John’s doctorate is from Northern Illinois University, where he also served on the graduate school faculty. His dissertation on the relationship between strategic planning and human resource development received the American Society for Training and Development’s dissertation of the year award. He has also been an adjunct professor at DePaul University and Benedictine University. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute.

John has also been a keynote speaker at national and international credit union conferences.
