brings to his role as Senior Consultant at ISL extensive experience as a credit union volunteer, serving as chairman of the board of directors of a large, successful Midwest credit union. Craig was also instrumental in forming the nation’s largest student-operated credit union.

Craig’s credit union background is combined with 28 years of executive experience, with 19 of them as the CEO of public school districts. He was responsible for managing annual operating budgets in excess of $60 million and construction projects over $200 million. During his tenure as CEO, each year saw improved performance in all areas of the operation, receiving state and national recognitions.

Having led numerous sessions in planning and leadership development within the non-profit sector, Craig focuses on the balance of management and governance in the strategic planning process. His experience in leading a credit union board while managing large organizations brings a unique perspective and appreciation to the balance of the governance and management in the “One Team Planning” approach.

Craig-at-Table-1131Craig earned a doctorate from the University of Michigan in Administration. He has taught graduate-level courses at Spring Arbor University where he served as a member of the adjunct faculty.
